How Will You Help Me To Have More Self Esteem?
The first thing we will do is establish exactly what you mean by ‘low self esteem’. It is such a big generalisation that it can mean so many things to so many different people. The Cure To Low Self Esteem Is Nothing To Do With The Problems
The keys to better feelings, to ‘more self-esteem’, if you like, are in the ways you are thinking about things, and the things you are focusing on. For example, if, as you are walking down a street, your head is down, and all you are doing is thinking about a store in that street that you hate, then that’s the only place your legs will take you. You can’t walk to your favourite store until you have the thought of doing so. Our job, metaphorically speaking, is to get your mind to look up, see which stores you could go to that would be more fun, more appropriate etc, and then simply get you to go there!Low Self Esteem And Internal Dialogue
