Information About Kairos Therapy
What is Kairos Therapy?
Kairos Therapy practitioners say that when we experience stress, fear
or trauma of any kind, our bodies respond. Because these emotions are simply
a part of every day life, we inevitably carry around our negative reactions
to these many moments of discomfort. This however is not an ideal way to
go forward into each new day. Kairos Therapy targets this negativity (tension)
that we carry and releases it, so that we can go on unburdened.
The result of this is that emotional pain is dissolved allowing you to find self confidence, inner peace, enormous resources of energy and the emotions of joy and compassion to be reawakened in you. All these were never actually missing, just buried.
Kairos Therapy is said to be good for any condition that is effected by stress, including migraine, anxiety, and phobias. It is excellent for helping you through grief, and any pain from the past, including recovery from childhood abuse, Post Traumatic Stress disorders and troubling nightmares.
It can also help in dealing with chronic pain that no one can explain. And it is a wonderful help to emotional and spiritual growth.
What happens during a Kairos Therapy Healing Session ?
You prone and fully clothed on a comfortable table, bed or special Kairos cradle. The therapist places his or her hands at precise placements on or near your body. You may be aware of feelings of warmth or tingling as you relax, and you may find snippets of memory surfacing during the session.
Although sometimes one session can be immensely beneficial, your practitioner may advise that you consider a few sessions to address your particular problems.
