Information About Colonic Hydrotherapy
What is Colonic Hydrotherapy?
Throughout our lives our bodies are subject to contamination from environmental
pollution and poor diet, often this process is dramatically increased
as a result of emotional or physical stress. The result of these
toxic contaminants is the build up within the digestive system of
multiple layers of mucous like material. This un expelled waste matter
is not only a breeding ground for harmful and unpleasant parasites
such as intestinal worms but may also be a major factor in the development
of specific maladies. Conditions often associated with this problem
of waste retention can include Candida, Flatulence, Deteriorating
skin condition, and a general feeling of being unwell.
The treatment flushes out the problem waste material in a pain free and
dignified way resulting in a general improvement in health often
dramatically visually evident giving the subject a much fresher,
cleaner and brighter appearance to the skin and eyes.
Colonic Hydrotherapy is often used to facilitate relief from the following

What happens during a Colonic Hydrotherapy session ?
The session will generally start with the therapist discussing your condition
and the reason you are seeking treatment. The therapist will need
to get a complete overall view of your general health and any specific
health related problems you may be suffering from.
The treatment itself involves the insertion of a specially designed speculum into
the rectum, depth of insertion is approximately 50mm (2 inches).
You will feel a certain amount of pressure during the insertion and
although this is not painful it may be a little uncomfortable for a short
while.
During the actual irrigation process the therapist will use special massage
techniques on your abdomen in order to encourage the expulsion of
the problem waste material. You will experience a feeling of pressure
within the abdomen, this is often described as like 'having
butterflies in the tummy' but is usually very relaxing and not at
all unpleasant.
The waste material is dispelled through the speculum device and is not
permitted to escape into the treatment area. Most therapists provide
gowns to wear during the procedure to preserve both dignity and
modesty.
