Sweating is one of the body's methods of cooling down and is a normal and natural response. Excessive sweating, also called hyperhidrosis, occurs in about 1 in 100 people.
Worrying, or being anxious about sweating tends to make the response worse so I work to alleviate the stress and anxiety about the sweating. People worry about warm weather, or whether they will sweat in a meeting, or be drenched with perspiration on public transport. For many, this fear is like being in a horror story. There are, however, specific neuro-linguistic and hypnotherapeutic techniques that are designed to help facilitate the process of reducing, and indeed eliminating, the fear, or anticipation, that the person will blush. This is often achieved quickly and easily. We help to put you in charge of your imagination.
