Binge Drinking on the increase?

I was recently contacted by The Yorkshire Evening Post to discuss the issue of binge drinking and gave an interview which is found in full here

This issue has become a massive problem in the UK, not especially helpe by some supermarkets selling booze at less than trade cost during the X Mas period! I have seen a lot of clients with this issue and it's fascinating to see that the patterns of "binge behaviour" are very similar to those individuals who binge on food. The "drink element" is not the real issue, it's more how a person thinks, feels and then responds to create the behaviour. In most instances those with binge type behaviours find it difficult to relax and are very mentally active. They also tend to adopt the same problem behaviour in the exact same situations and often at the same times of day.

Usually a couple of sessions using Hypnotherapy and other skills is sufficient to really help change this problem behaviour so the client feels in control and has a nw freedom of choice
