“My aim in life is simply to help people, and NLP and Hypnotherapy are the quickest and most effective tools to use.”
Whilst living in Sydney, Australia, Denis gained a diploma in Clinical Hypnotherapy from the Australian College of Hypnotherapy. During that time he also gained certification as a Practitioner of Neuro Linguistic Programming. Since then he has trained with the co-founder of NLP, Dr. Richard Bandler, and is now licensed by the Society of NLP as a Master Practitioner of NLP. His studies culminated in being awarded a Doctorate in Philosophy (PhD) early in 2007.
After 4½ years in Australia, he and his wife returned to the United kingdom at the end of 2007. He now practices in Gosforth, Tyne and Wear.
He is registered with the General Hypnotherapy Register and is a Validated Practitioner according to the General Hypnotherapy Standards Council.
Early on in his career as a therapist, Denis realised that there was a lack of understanding within the general public with regard to the power and effectiveness of both NLP and hypnotherapy. That is why many groups, clubs and societies invite him as a guest speaker to present an informative and sometimes humorous talk on “Hypnosis Demystified”.
His unique sense of humour and his distinctive interpersonal and communication skills ensure that every therapeutic session with him is not only successful, but also fun and totally enjoyable – no matter what the reason for the therapy is!
