There are obviously a huge number of specific animal and bird phobias and we haven't got pages on them all. They all work the same way in people's minds though, so even of you are scared of Tigers, pigeons, badgers, vultures or llamas, it is highly likely that we will be able to help you put these fears behind you for good.

- Being terrified of birds can be one of the most uncomfortable and life restricting of all phobias. If you think about it, there aren't many snakes on daily view (for most people). - Dog Phobia - Fear of Dogs
- Worldwide, millions of people have dogs as pets. Some dogs can be dangerous scary animals, though. Whether you were terrified of a dog as a child, or in fact whatever the reason you are scared of the animals, it is possible to get rid of the fear and walk comfortably in the park once more (or, for the first time!).

- You may have seen Images from old films of women holding their skirts up and standing on a chair and screaming are based on what actually happens for some. This can be a screaming phobia, just as any other can, and it can affect men just as easily as it affects women. The fear or phobia of mice can be totally horrible for someone.

- Rat Phobia - Fear of Rats
- A phobia of rats may well be based upon experiences you had when younger, or a film or TV program you watched. Rats are often seen as disease carrying vermin (and actually sometimes they are). On the other hand, some people have them as pets. Those with a phobia of rats, though, would be horrified and repulsed by the idea. Don't worry, just because we make the phobia of them go away doesn't mean you have to love them.
